Principal's Welcome

Bill Wright Elementary Family,

It is with great enthusiasm that I begin another year with the Wright Elementary family as Principal. I am excited for the opportunity to work with our amazing faculty and staff to help students reach their greatest potential.

The students of Weatherford ISD hold a very special place in my heart. I am a Kangaroo, too! After graduating high school from Weatherford, I attended Texas Tech University and Texas Woman’s University. Then, I returned to my hometown to raise my family, and started my career in education 14 years ago. Before joining the amazing staff at Wright Elementary, I have worked as a teacher at Curtis Elementary, and an administrator at Seguin Elementary. I believe in the power of relationships, experiences, and the foundation that is laid for a lifetime of success during elementary school.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family. My husband, Matt, and I have a 3-year-old daughter, Madelyn, and 7-year-old son, Tripp. Our weekends are filled with sports, travel, and exploring on our family ranch.
