Everett Gibson - Assistant Principal

Introduction:

Everett Gibson proudly serves as the Assistant Principal of Wright Elementary School, where he is committed to supporting every student’s academic and personal success. Since joining Weatherford ISD in 2020, he has worked as a classroom teacher and instructional coach, bringing a passion for learning and a focus on continuous improvement. Before coming to Weatherford, Everett taught and coached in both Hays CISD and Crowley ISD. He believes in building strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and strives to be approachable, consistent, and committed to high behavioral and academic standards. His mission is to serve the students of Wright Elementary by helping provide the tools, support, and high expectations they need to one day become contributing members of the community. Everett and his wife, along with their three children, are proud to call Weatherford home, and he is honored to serve the community they are part of.
