Tra Hall was recently approved as principal for Bill Wright Elementary, replacing Joy Bailey who retired after 32 years of service to public education. Tra has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University, Bachelor of Science in History Education from Eastern NM University, and a Master of Educational Leadership from Wayland Baptist University. He has nine years in education and twelve years in private sector management. Tra’s wife, Amy, is an elementary teacher. They have three children, Britain (21), Hunter (19), and River (16).

Weatherford ISD's Healthy Kids summer lunch program kicks off on Monday, June 6th. The program offers free lunches to all area children who are 18 years old and younger. Healthy Kids will run Monday - Friday thru August 5.

What a great accomplishment!

Seniors that attended Wright Elementary were welcomed back today with a parade. What a treat for our kiddos to see what they too can achieve. Congratulations to all the 2016 Seniors - We are proud of you!

At the end of each six weeks, each teacher will choose 1 student from class to receive Good Citizen Award.

Each month, as part of the character education curriculum adopted by our school, a different trait is emphasized through integration into regular ed. instruction.
