Important Message

Dear Wright Family,

Today, medical personnel was contacted to provide medical attention for one of our students. During this time the campus was placed on a low-level lockdown to ensure students were out of the hallways while an ambulance responded. This was done to facilitate quick and easy access for first responders, not because students or staff were in danger in any way. We appreciate how our students and staff responded to this event and ask that you join us in sending well wishes for our student.

We want to reassure you that today’s low-level lockdown was not related to a safety risk at Wright Elementary. Weatherford ISD places the safety of our students and staff as our top priority and we have several processes in place to ensure a safe environment for your child while they are in our care. Should a situation arise where student safety is a concern, we will always communicate with parents so you are informed.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this email or to contact Wright Elementary at 817-598-2828
